Who Needs to Register?
Everyone must submit a registration form (including invited speakers)
with the appropriate fee. Exhibitors who present a talk or poster must
also register as a meeting participant. Registered participants will
conference materials and a name badge securing admission to the Opening
Reception, Exhibit Show and Scientific Sessions.

Travel grants for students and young scientists to offset costs
associated with attending to the 2017 ACA meeting can be found on the Young Scientists' Meeting page.
Participants with special needs arising from disabilities or particular
dietary requirements are invited to contact the Registration Office to
discuss appropriate accommodations.
Obtaining a VISA
Advanced planning by foreign travelers is critical. We recommend all
foreign travelers consider the following when making plans to travel to
the US: Identify whether a VISA is needed VISA applications should be made 90 days in advance of the travel date. For further information contact: the US Department of State and or the International Visitors Office.

IUCr Scientific Freedom Policy Statement
The Organizing Committee of the American Crystallographic Association
2017 Annual Meeting shall observe the basic policy of nondiscrimination
and affirms the rights of scientists throughout the world to adhere or
to associate with international scientific activity without restrictions
based on nationality, race, color, age, religion, political philosophy,
ethnic origin, citizenship, language, or sex, in accordance with the
Statues on the International Council for Science. At this meeting no
barriers will exist which would prevent the participation of bona fide scientists.
Code of Conduct
By registering for the meeting, participant agrees to abide by the Code of Conduct Policy established by the Council, March 24, 2016.
The ACA Council is pleased to announce the adoption of the a speaker policy.
ACA will take photographs and video at the meeting. By registering
for the meeting and its associated events, you agree to allow ACA to
use your photo and/or video footage of you in our publications,
materials, websites, or promotions.
Meeting Registration Refund Policy
Cancellation requests should be made in writing to ACA Headquarters.
Requests received on or before March 31, 2017, will receive 100% of the total remittance.
Requests received between April 1 and 30, 2017 will be honored minus 50% of the total remittance.
Fees will not be refunded after May 1, 2017.
Registration must be submitted on or before 11:00 PM., EST, March 31,
2017, to be eligible for the early registration rate. On or after March 2, 2017, registration will be accepted at the higher rate. On-site
registration will also be available at the higher rate.
Fees for workshops and social events are separate from the registration fee but should be included in the total payment.
Purchase orders not accepted.
A $35 fee applies to returned checks.
*Non-Member registration includes a complimentary membership in the
ACA beginning the first day of the meeting and ending December 31, 2017.
Membership is non-transferable and attendance at the meeting is
required. Those registering as Non-Member Post Docs or Non-Member
Students must include documentation of this status with the registration.
