Abstract Submission Deadline - March 31, 2010
All Abstracts must be submitted online at the ACA website or emailed by March 31st, 2010.  Faxed or hard copies are not accepted.

 

 

Abstracts from ACA Members:

ACA Members who have paid 2010 dues should follow the instructions below; no fee is due at the time of submission.

 

Abstracts from Non-Members:

Nonmembers submitting an abstract must also include the registration form and payment at the time of submission.  Abstracts should be submitted electronically as described below.  The registration form may be faxed to (716) 898-8695 or you can register online.  Abstracts received without the appropriate registraion fee will not be processed until the fee is received. 

 

 

Preparation Instructions:

 

The entire abstract, including title, authors and their affiliations, footnotes, references, tables, equations, etc. should be a maximum of 2000 characters (including spaces) using Times font with 10 point size.
The authors' names and affiliations should be in upper and lower case with the presenting author's name listed first.
The author named first on the paper must present the abstract.  No one may be first author on more than one abstract.
One image per abstract is allowed.  It can be black and white or color.
Special characters, symbols, greek characters, mathematical formulas and figures should be confined to the set of fonts that comes with the standard distribution of MicroSoft Word.
The abstract processing office will not accept revisions.  You will have to withdraw the original abstract and submit a new one.  The same abstract submission fees and deadlines apply.

Submission Instructions:

 

Abstracts for invited presentations must be submitted in the same manner as those for contributed papers and are subject to the same applicable abstract fees and deadlines.
Abstracts will be posted to the ACA website only if the presenting author's permission is given with the abstract submission.
Each abstract will be assigned a temporary abstract number upon receipt. Presenting authors will be notified of their final abstract number, session name, date, time and room assignment approximately 4 weeks prior to the meeting.  This information will also be posted on the abstract website.
To be considered for a poster prize, you must choose the prize for which you wish to be considered at the time of your abstract submission.  Limit ONE prize per author.

A late fee of $100 will be applied to any abstract received after 11:59PM on March 31, 2010 EST.  This fee applies to members and non-members, invited and contributed abstracts.

If submitted before the deadline, there is no fee for your first abstract.  However a fee of $100 applies to all subsequent abstract submissions.  Late fees also apply to subsequent submissions.

 

The Abstract Submission website will be available closer to the dates of the 2010 meeting.
