Check out the new AVL.  This exciting new platform is designed to showcase the diverse work and expertise of our members and contributors. We invite you to submit your crystallography-related videos for inclusion in our library. To kick off this launch, we are hosting a new April contest!

The Education Committee has selected the theme for the April contest and is currently seeking videos on:

“How to publish XRD results?”

and

“When is my structure good enough to publish?”

The deadline to submit your video is April 30, 2024. The five submissions selected by the Education Committee will receive a $100 (USD) prize. The top two videos will receive a $500 (USD) award. Previous winners can be found here.

Whether you have a tutorial, research highlight, or a creative exploration of crystallography, we want to see it! Submit your videos by April 30th, and stay tuned for more details on how to participate. Let's celebrate our community's passion and dedication to advancing crystallography together!

Call for Fellows Nomination Deadline Extended!

The deadline to submit a nomination for an ACA Fellow has been extended to May 15th!  

A Fellow of the ACA is defined as "a Member whose efforts on behalf of the advancement of crystallography or its applications are scientifically or socially distinguished." This prestigious designation recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the field of crystallography.

We encourage all members of the structural science community to take this opportunity to nominate deserving individuals who have demonstrated excellence in their contributions to the field. The nomination form can be found on the fellows page.
