Happy New Year ACA Members! 

As we step into an exciting new chapter, we’re thrilled to share some important updates and changes for the association.

A New Office Space:

We’re excited to announce that as of February 28, 2025, we will be moving out of the Hauptman-Woodward Medical Research Institute (HWI) in Buffalo, New York. Our time at HWI has been incredibly meaningful, given its rich history of scientific discovery and collaboration, particularly with the National Crystallization Center.  We will always cherish our time at HWI and deeply appreciate the partnership and support we’ve received from this esteemed institution.

In 2020, like many organizations, we transitioned to a remote work structure due to the pandemic. For financial efficiency, we downsized to a small 55-square-foot space at HWI, which has served us well over the past five years. However, as we prepare to host the IUCr2026 Congress, we’ve recognized the need for enhanced staff collaboration and additional storage space. Details about our new location will be announced soon, so stay tuned!

New Email Addresses:

As part of this transition, we’ll also be updating our email addresses to align with our website domain: @amercrystalassn.org. This change not only strengthens our brand but ensures consistency across all our communications. We’ll share more details about our new contact information in the coming weeks. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly.
