Annual Three Minute Thesis Competition

The ACA Annual Three Minute Thesis competition celebrates the ability of students and early-career researchers to communicate their work clearly and compellingly to a broad audience. Participants are challenged to present the significance of their research in just three minutes, using a single static slide and no jargon. The annual ACA 3MT highlights emerging scientists, strengthens science-communication skills, and showcases the creativity and impact of research across the crystallographic sciences. First-, second-, and third-place winners receive cash awards and are invited to present their Three Minute Thesis during the ACA Annual Meeting Banquet.
