Canadian Rep to Council Candidate: Brian Patrick

Election Home | Council | Committees | National Divisions | SIGs

It would be an honour to be elected Canadian Representative to the ACA.  I have been a proud member of the ACA since 1998 when I attended my first meeting in Washington, DC. It was there that I began to meet others in the Canadian crystallographic community, and it was through them that I became a member of the CNCC.  These two organizations have formed the bedrock of my professional career.  Canadian engagement with the broader American crystallographic community is essential, and involvement in the ACA helps to foster this engagement.  This is particularly relevant today, as Canada prepares to host the next IUCr General Assembly in Calgary.  If elected, I look forward my continued engagement with the Canadian crystallographic community, and the opportunity to promote Canadian involvement in the ACA.
