As the North American Regional Affiliate of the International Union of Crystallography (IUCr), the American Crystallographic Association (ACA) helps connect the crystallography community across borders. Representing members throughout North and South America, the ACA works to advance the study and practice of structural science on a global stage. Within the ACA, the Canadian Division and U.S. National Division ensure that members from each country have a strong voice. Each division promotes the interests of its members and elects a representative to serve on the ACA Council—helping shape the direction of the Association and keep our community connected.
