Margarita Tararina

I am honored to be considered as a candidate for Chair-Elect of the Industrial SIG. I have a strong background in structural biology through my graduate and post-doctoral studies, mainly in protein X-ray crystallography. Since then, I have worked in the pharmaceutical industry for nearly 4 years, employing both X-ray crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy to deliver impactful structures to the drug discovery process, elucidating target engagement and driving chemistry design. As future session chair, I am committed to organizing engaging sessions highlighting the advancement and innovation of structural biology in the pharmaceutical industry. I will ensure an inclusive environment and perform all chair duties and responsibilities. I look forward to contributing to the success of future Industrial SIG sessions and supporting our shared goals. Thank you for your consideration!
